Firefox 137: What's New?
Mozilla has released version 137 of its browser, available since April 1, 2025. This version introduces productivity improvements, security enhancements, and new tools to enhance the user experience.
Tab Groups
Firefox 137 introduces the Tab Groups feature, which allows better organization for work and leisure. You can group related tabs by dragging one over another, assign names and colors, and save them to reopen later.
Address Bar Improvements
The address bar has been updated with new ways to search:
- Unified Search Button: Easily switch between search engines.
- Term Persistence: Keeps the original term while refining a search.
- Contextual Search Mode: Firefox suggests using the site's search engine if it detects search capabilities.
- Intuitive Keywords: Access search modes with keywords like @bookmarks, @tabs, @history.
Other Features
- Firefox now converts all links in PDFs into hyperlinks.
- Support for HEVC playback on Linux.
- The ability to sign PDFs directly in Firefox and save signatures for reuse.
- The address bar now works as a calculator and copies the result to the clipboard when clicked.
